We'd love to share the beauty of the Bluegrass with you. There are three ways to make it happen:
1. Do it on your own with your nose buried in a map. You'll develop your skills at making U-turns, we promise!
2. Take a public tour and see what THEY want you to see while sharing space with as many as 20 of your fellow tourists.
3. Take a private tour at your own pace, seeing what you want to see in the comfort of your own vehicle, with a guide who has years of touring experience.
If Option #3 sounds appealing, that's what we're all about!
I have over 20 years of tour-guiding experience in the Lexington area—with groups ranging from 2 to a busload of 40 or more. Once you’ve contacted me, we can discuss a tour that runs 3 hours (my minimum) to a day or more, depending on your schedule and interests.
As I've already mentioned, tours are done in your vehicle since private guides are generally not insured to carry passengers as a business.
The cost? Quite affordable. My hourly rate is $35 (per vehicle, not per person) with a 3 hour minimum. If there are 2 or more in your party, the per-person cost begins to compare quite favorably with public tour rates in our area. If you’d like to do a full day of touring (8 hours max.), the cost is $225. I'll also be happy to quote step-on rates for charter buses.

I’d suggest planning your visit well in advance—especially if you’re planning to visit in either April or October, when Keeneland is open for racing.
